Genovese Basil is the classic sweet basil famously used in traditional pesto and treasured in its homeland of Genoa. With broad, dark green leaves and a rich, concentrated flavour thats less sweet than common basil, its the variety serious cooks reach for.

Perfect for pots, windowsills and kitchen gardens, it grows quickly and generously giving you fragrant leaves in as little as 4060 days. Pinch often for a bushy plant and a steady supply of beautifully scented foliage.
