Chateau Roc De Levraut Bordeaux SuperieurBordeaux, France1 x 75cl Bottle

The 2020 Roc de Levraut Bordeaux Superieur is in the classic structured style that shows red and black fruit, a touch of cassis, that mixture of dark berry and sage-like herbal musk so prevalent in Bordeaux reds, and a lovely plump blueberry from the Cabernet Franc. The tannins are noticeable, but don’t dominate the wine, suggesting instead that there will likely be a few years of ageing capacity here.

This is a remarkably tasty Bordeaux made in the classic style. Delicious for drinking now but capable of ageing for 5 to 7 years.

.Chateau Haut Bessac Bordeaux BlancBordeaux, France

1 x 75cl Bottle
The Glotin family has been producing wines in Entre-Deux-Mers since 1930, when they acquired XXVIIIth century Chteau Goudichaud. One of the first female winemakers, Henriette Glotin, devoted herself passionately to her family domaine. Sprawled over 120 ha of vineyards, forests and grasslands, this family estate is protected by nature evolving with respect for the terroir.

Today, her grandson Yves runs Goudichaud in the same spirit of respect for the traditions that followed before, now producing 5 labels of very great wine. Haut Bessac, their first label, produces wines of finesse that are accessible to everyone. The blanc is a perfect blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, distinguishing itself with floral aromas and citrus fruit. It is an easy wine, crisp and voluptuous, a modern day Entre-Deux-Mers.
